Chapter 3: The Earl

British Parliament

In this Chapter Charles speaks with an Earl living near Roch Castle. It was here that he found out about the English parliament, which was disbanded by his father the king a few years before Charles was born. Naturally inclined to defend his father, Charles began to argue with the earl, attempting to defend his father’s actions, but was throughly stumped. Little did he know the Earl was

actually the former speaker in the House of Commons of Parliament.
